About

My name is David Siedlecki and I used to run a music blog, that still exists, called SidVision. Check it out; I will re-start posting music articles at some point.
This past year, I started to get into Twitter and other social media, as well as read a lot about blogging and blog creation. That took up a lot of my time as I found it quite interesting. Now all I want to do is read blogs, try out social media tools, and share.
Enter MKEBiz. MKEBiz.org is a great resource if you are interested in any of the following:
- Social Media
- Pop Culture
- Blogging
- Internet Tools
- Web Technology
- Geeky Junk
- Viral Marketing
Also, notice the screenshot above from the Twitter directory WeFollow. For some odd reason I am listed as the #1 most influential Tweeter under the term Milwaukee. It is real mystery as to how WeFollow figures out the “most influential”. I don’t think it means a whole lot, but either way I thought I would capture the moment (screencap) while I was still listed as #1
.
So I am just within my first year of this blog. I have to get my ass moving in 2010 and start my content flowing. Please feel free to send any suggestions and feedback to feedback@mkebiz.org
Also note that I use the Thesis Theme for my WordPress blog. I have tried out hundreds of free WordPress themes and a few premium themes and have never been satisfied. Thesis is the first theme I have used that was fully featured (i.e., for my needs) and fully supported for future use. I am also a member of the Thesis Affiliate program. Check out the Thesis link to the right if your are interested.

Hey David…great site. I can already see there is a ton of valuable info on here that I need! I’ll put this in my favorites.
Quick question: If you could have your way, what would you like to be doing 5 years from now? This or your current job? Or something totally different?
Just curious. I always wonder how many people pursue their dreams as compared to just dreaming they could.
Talk to you soon on fb!
Thanks Jarrett, and good question.
I live in the mindset that my job and my dream are independent of each other. I love my job and I also love coming home to do my own thing online: blogging, social media, exploring mass amounts of information, playing with new tech, etc.
